Core Curriculum

Explore the curriculum of regular classes and teachings

Classes in spiritual growth and transformation. All of our classes are currently offered online. 

Central to the core of our studies are the spiritual traditions and practices of ancient wisdom and New Thought, to current modern day quantum physics. It is our goal to offer the best inspirational teachings that promote the purest form of personal transformation through enlightenment and connection with your inner genius. 

At Soul Center we offer unique classes in a transformational education program that cultivates and integrates your conscious evolution spiritually, intellectually, and professionally. We teach a practical approach to spirituality based on the principles of New Thought/Ageless Wisdom teachings. 

Meeting students where they are in their journey, our goal is to  bring them to the an authentic experience of wellness and success through spiritual transformation and expansion. 

Unlike traditional learning that incorporates memorization of facts and figures, and exams based primarily on intellectual knowledge. Our classes are designed with an integrated  right and left brain curriculum for students to have a direct Divine experience, while exploring their own unique spiritual nature. 

We offer classes in: Affirmative Prayer, Divine Energy Medicine, Meditation, Metaphysics, Mysticism, Science & Spirituality, and Self Awareness. Most classes can be taken individually and are self paced, while some of our classes are part of our licensing and certification programs.  

Our programs include: 

  1. Soul Center Prayer Chaplaincy Program
  2. Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner (ALSP) Program

Prayer Chaplaincy Program

A Soul Center OC Prayer Chaplain is trained and licensed in the New Thought teachings of affirmative prayer, and can pray with others.
A Soul Center OC Prayer Chaplain is trained in the Universal Principals and Laws observed by Soul Center OC in alignment with Agape International Spiritual Center in the New Thought teachings of affirmative prayer. A Prayer Chaplain is someone who evokes grace, can create and hold sacred space for themselves and others, and can pray with others. To hold sacred space means to embrace a consciousness and Divine power of God’s Truth and healing.

Certification & Licensing Program

The Prayer Chaplaincy Program enables one to become either Licensed or Certified. Both Licensed and Certified Prayer Chaplains must complete all required classes and curriculum. A Licensed Prayer Chaplain is one who would like to serve the Soul Center OC community, locally and/or remotely. Licensed Prayer Chaplains have committed to serving our community by being available for individual prayer after services and by phone that meet a minimum hourly requirement, and may make in person hospital or home visits during challenging times.
A Certified Prayer Chaplain is not obligated to our community and may complete their certification to aid their professional practice. A Certified Soul Center Prayer Chaplain may use their certification in their private practice as a healer, therapist, holistic practitioner, in their own community, and with family members and friends.
To maintain their license, a Licensed Prayer Chaplain must comply with annual continuing education to keep their practice fresh and expand it. Continuing education is optional for Certified Prayer Chaplains. Once the program is complete, both licensed and certified Prayer Chaplains are eligible for reduced pricing on continuing education classes offered by Soul Center OC.
All Prayer Chaplains maintain a code of ethics and confidentiality and are mindful of any state or federal laws thereof. Prayer chaplains are individuals steeped and certified in the principles of affirmative prayer and are not New Thought Spiritual Counselors (ALSP; RScP).

Prayer Chaplain Program & Certification
The prayer chaplaincy program is for those who are looking to deepen their connection to Spirit though prayer and service. SCOC Prayer Chaplains serve the congregation by offering individual prayer on Sunday mornings and through telephone call prayer requests as needed. Prayer Chaplains connect to the community in a deep and meaningful way by holding sacred space and practicing kindness and compassion.
The commitment to become a Soul Center OC Prayer Chaplain begins with a simple application and interview to welcome you into the program. There is a small non-refundable application fee to begin the process and help cover administrative costs. If a required class has been taken prior to entering into the program, the class(es) will be reviewed for consideration of program fulfillment. Some classes from other spiritual centers will also be considered.

Ethics and Oaths of a Prayer Chaplain

One time 4 hour class

Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner (ALSP)Program

ALSP Licensing Prerequisites and Program

A Practitioner is not merely a body of knowledge, but rather a state of consciousness that realizes oneness with the Infinite. Dedicated to first demonstrating the New Thought/Ageless Wisdom principles within their own life, a Practitioner then serves as a therapeutic agent of the Spirit for the upliftment of anyone who requests healing of body, mind and spirit.- Michael Bernard Beckwith

The Sacred Order of Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioners is the healing arm of the Agape spiritual community. We are a service order dedicated to realizing the consciousness of Truth and Wholeness in the Agape community and the world at large.

Before applying for the ALSP two year licensing program you must complete the prerequisites below, most of which are part of the Soul Center Prayer Chaplaincy Program:

  • Evolution of Consciousness
  • Life Visioning
  • Mysticism
  •  Roots of Agape / The Answer Is You / Spiritual Liberation
    (one of these three classes are required)
  • Prayer 2
  • Self Awareness
  • Pre-Prac Prayer and Principles

Upon completion of the above pre-requisites or their equivalents you are eligible to apply for the two year ALSP studies program. 

Our two-year program is a deeply experiential consciousness-building process which includes specific studies that prepare candidates for advanced participation in spiritual community. This innovative curriculum is intended to develop the necessary skills associated with the art of spiritual counseling, community building and spiritual leadership.

– Professional Practitioner Studies I – (30 weeks)

– Professional Practitioner Studies II – (30 weeks)

Students are encouraged to actively participate in the course by completing growth work assignments on time, sharing in large and small group dialogues, asking questions, and other activities as assigned by the instructor. Growth work assignments are designed to reveal, expand, and develop untapped areas of your mental, emotional, and spiritual self. Growth work, done earnestly and sincerely, allows students to discover a deepening and expansion of consciousness, leading to a more self-realized individual who’s unified with all of Life and ready to activate their unique gifts and talents. Growth work varies from course to course, and each instructor will provide the necessary details and expectations.
